1. To Champions Committee is a Committee facilitated by HSENI for new BuildHealth Champions.

The aim of the Committee is to:

• Promote sharing of best practice and experience across the group
• Provide mentoring opportunities as well as a forum for shared learning and trouble shooting
• Identify gaps, needs, opportunities and raise these with the Steering Committee

2. The Committee is facilitated by a HSENI representative and usually convened on a Champion site.
3. To monitor and review ill health related absences on his/her project.
4. Champions are members of the Committee for the period of 18 months following the establishment of Champion sites.
5. Meetings are held three-monthly and are subject to a quorum of five Champions.
6. The production of a Progress Report is required for each Champions meeting. These reports will also be presented at the Steering Group Committee Meeting.
